Continuing with the best AZSalsa.net's tradition to celebrate one more year of influencing the growth of salsa in Phoenix, AZSalsa presents the 3rd Annual AZ Salsa Festival 2009 featuring the legendary salsa star Tito Rojas, direct from Puerto Rico, a spectacular salsa dance show with local and national talents, the Phoenix's hottest salsa band, Jaleo, finest salsa DJs, free salsa lessons, and more!

This year's festival will be even bigger than the last!

AZSalsa.Net is proud to present, direct from Puerto Rico, live concert with the salsa legend
Tito Rojas known as 'El Gallo' is an internationally renowned salsa vocalist and bandleader from Puerto Rico. 
He started his career as lead vocals of Pedro Conga's Orchestra, and after a while he joined Justo Betancourt's Conjunto Borincuba. In the mid 70s, he was part of the amazing Fania All Stars. He formed his own orchestra Conjunto Borincano in the 80s. He was also vocalist of high-profile Puerto Rican Power Orchestra.
He has been in the salsa music world for more than 30 years, recording dozens of albums in his prolific career, with twelve of them as soloist, with more than one million of copies sold worldwide.
Rojas has received multiple recognitions for his solid career, including the The Puerto Rico's Best Salsa Artist of the Year, award he received in 1994
