AZSalsa.Net review: Monthly TropicalVibes Party (2nd Saturday of the month), presented by TropicalVibes Dance. Doors open at 8:30pm, and then Cory & Manny Gutierrez teach simultaneous beginners and intermediate salsa classes from 8:45-9:45pm. Party continues until 1am with DJ Manny spinning good salsa, cha-cha-cha with acouple of bachatas and merengues. Wood dance floor, domed ceiling reflecting the night's sky, professional sound system, safe location, very friendly social dancing environment. Look for regular Jack-n-Jills salsa dance competitions.

Music in Palazzo is salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbia, DJs play sets of 5 songs of each in a row; music is good in general (also, music in Club Downtown is Latin pop, rock, hip-hop, reagetton, R&B). Palazzo has tile dance floor, free and paid parking across the street (Fours clubs in the same block, so get there by 11pm to find parking). AZSalsa.Net review: Skybar hosts Havana Tuesdays with live music by "Rakata Project", a 5-piece band that plays Latin Fusion (a fusion of Salsa, Cha-Cha, Cumbia, Samba and more). This is a Latin lounge venue, great for socializing, having some drinks, and enjoying Rakata's music (it's not really a salsa dancing venue) "...Skybar, accessed from the Mondrian Hotel's gardens, is draped in decadent black gauze and furnished with black wing chairs and an enormous, luxurious bed for relaxing and star-gazing along with a cluster of veiled cabanas that may be rented for more intimate entertaining...".
